Cross Fit: My favorite WODs

Hey y'all. Sorry I am posting this so late. The kids have been a whiny, snotty, coughing mess all day which gave me no time to blog. This is going to be a short post, just some of my favorite WODs and some terminology.

My Whole 30 experience so far...


I am on day 16 of my Whole30 experience. I will be honest with you, when I started I was scared crapless. Black coffee? No cheese? No chocolate? I thought I was going to die. Surprisingly, after the very first day I was sold. Yeah, black coffee sucks (still ahaha) but I felt better mentally and physically. It was the first day in almost 15 years that I didn't have horribly painful stomach cramps and diarrhea. I was sold. I haven't had to take my medicine in 16 days. 16 DAYS!! Just that alone would have sold me. Then this happened...

Yes, I have a long ways to go but I am pretty stoked about my progress. I have also lost 13lbs! I am more motivated than ever. Tomorrow will be all about my food and a WOD. Stay tuned!

Introduction

Hi, My name is Danielle. I am a wife to an amazingly supportive man and mommy to three crazy kiddos. We have two boys Logan and Liam and one little diva named Nora. I am a Chanel lover and boot hoarder. I cannot pass up a good pair of boots or a new nail polish. I am also the heaviest I have ever been. I am five ft even and 150 lbs. That almost puts me into the obese category. OBESE. That is something that was never used to describe me when I was younger. I never weighed over 100 lbs until I got pregnant with Logan. When I was pregnant I took that as "I can shove my face with all.the.things." The day I gave birth I weighed in at 165. ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY FIVE POUNDS. I gained close to 70 lbs. That was over 6 years ago. So, in 6 years I have lost all of 15 lbs. and I have no one to blame but myself. My husband is physically fit, he runs and lifts weights and encourages me to do the same. But I didn't. For six years I sat on my arse and shoveled chocolate into my mouth. Not anymore. I am determined to get fit, toned and STRONG. Today I start my journey into the world of Paleo, Whole30 and Crossfit. This is what I look right now like but not for long...
